I'm Steve Manning, and I'm running as your community-backed Independent for Ovens Valley.
I'm an electrician. A trade teacher. A footy coach. A small business owner. For 30 years I've fixed problems for people, not talked about fixing them.
Right now, this region isn't getting a fair go. We're last in line for services, last in line for infrastructure, and taken for granted by parties run from somewhere else. We experience it every day - whether it is driving on our terrible roads, or waiting weeks to see a doctor.
I'm not interested in politics as usual. I'm interested in getting things done.
That's why I'm running.
As an independent, I answer only to you - not billionaires or party bosses in Melbourne.
