If your donation is equal to or exceeds this amount—or if multiple smaller donations to this campaign combine to exceed this amount within the election period—both the donor and the candidate must disclose the donation to the VEC within 21 days. In line with Steve’s commitment to integrity and transparency, to support our valued donors, and to comply with all VEC funding and electoral financial reporting requirements, the campaign will monitor donations and advise donors when they are approaching the disclosure threshold and the donor cap. We are also able to answer queries about donations and funding at any time.
Anonymous donations of $1,290 or more cannot be accepted. Small contributions (under $100) do not count toward the cap or disclosure threshold, but must not be used to intentionally circumvent the law.
All funds donated through this page are deposited directly into the candidate's designated State Campaign Account and will be used strictly for political expenditure relating to the 2026 Victorian State Election.
Individual donations of up to $1,500 to independent candidates are tax deductible and need to be claimed in the income year you made the contribution. See more on the ATO's website.
